The whiskey is a fully matured of Maker’s Mark. The 46 is the number of experiments with different wood varieties and levels of char it took to achieve the perfect balance. The inventive, handcrafted finishing process using seared, French, oak staves offers more complexity and creates a bourbon with a deeper, richer copper tone; and big, bold flavours of vanilla, oak caramel and spice – yet retains the easy drinkability of Maker’s Mark.
